Blogmas Day 10: December 2016 Glossybox

I have been so super excited for the arrival of my December Glossybox, and I have not been disappointed! I have loved every single one I have gotten, but this one has got to be my favourite one because every single item is makeup rather than a mix of skin and haircare and makeup. I can honestly say that I will use every single item in this box!

DO NOT SCROLL ANY FURTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS!!!

First of all, the packaging of this box is possibly the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! I just love everything about it, it's so chic but so Christmassy! It even says 'Mistletoe Kisses' on the side, which may be a slightly far fetched dream for some of us, but so cute!!!

The first product is this MDMflow lipstick. As it is a special Christmas box, you had a choice between a nude lipstick and a bright red one. I went for the nude because I thought that I would get a lot more wear out of it, although I have been loving red recently. It's darker than I expected, and it has much more chocolately undertones than any other lipstick I have, so it may not really work for everyday wear. However, I do absolutely love it and can't wait to wear it on Christmas day!

The second product is probably my favourite of the box, and I am so excited about it! It is this stunning highlight pallet by essence. I think that it has been designed so that you could possibly wear the colours as a blush or bronze if you wanted, but they are intended more as highlighters. They are so pigmented and sparkly, if the swatches are anything to go by, they're going to be fab! I'm going to be so sparkly!!!

The third thing is probably the most out-there thing for me, and it's this little Gosh mono eyeshadow. I love Gosh, I think that they have really good quality products and their packaging really reminds me of MAC products. I have a few Gosh eyeshadow pallets already which I love and am really impressed with, so I am looking forward to trying this eyeshadow. I don't really have any green colours like this, it's never a colour I would automatically think of, but I think (hope!) that it will look really nice with my colouring, and I can't wait to try it out!
I then got this beautiful Revlon nude nail varnish. I'm really into nail varnishes at the moment, especially nude ones because I can wear them to school and be like an undercover rebel,
overthrowing the system silently. I have a Revlon top coat that I love a lot, and I'm looking forward to trying the varnish!
Lastly (but certainly not least!), is this brow gel. This couldn't have come at a better time, as my good old Maybelline brow gel has been pretty dead for months now, and I have still been using it everyday despite it being empty because I just can't ever remember to buy a new one! I really hope this lives up to my expectations from my Maybelline one, and I'm sure it will be great to use!

I am very happy with my Glossybox haul, I would really recommend it to anyone! I have learnt about so many new amazing brands since subscribing, and have tried out loads of great new products, there's literally no downside!

See you tomorrow!
