A new year (that we're already a month into -- how??) calls for some new blog posts. I really like watching a reading about peoples favourites because there is always such a good mix of genuinely amazing products for you to discover. I was planning to do a round up of all my beauty favourites at the end of 2016, but I didn't get around to it, so I'm doing it now!

The first thing that I've been loving through January is this Unani Milk Cleanser. You may remember that I got this as apart of my Glossybox and was very excited to try it, as I have never used a cleanser before. Since I have owned it, I have been using it religiously every morning and evening. I don't know what a cleanser is supposed to do, but this has improved my skin so much. It is brighter and clearer and all my little spots are either non-existent or tiny. It always feels so smooth and soft and I just love it!

Another product that I received in my Glossybox is this Nip + Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser. This is such a small sample that I am using the smallest amounts possible everyday but this too has helped in the transformation of my skin. It's a very thick moisturiser which I'm not really used to, but I really like it. It feels like you're giving you skin some real love, which is something that it doesn't really get a lot of. I'm not too sold on the smell, it reminds me too much of health and why would you want to think about that ew. I really want to try some more of the Nip + Fab range now, especially their Teen Skin range.
The next thing are these cotton buds by Superdrug. I've seen these a couple of times in the shop and thought they were amazing and then I was lucky enough to have Father Christmas drop some in my stocking. What's spe
cial about these cotton buds (I think you call them Q tips in America...?) Is that one end is really pointed and one end is really flat. I end up using the pointed end pretty much everyday to clean up the multitude of mascara mistakes that I have made. It's so precise that it just takes away the offending mascara and none of the eyeshadow. I don't use the flat end so much, but looking at it now, I think that it might be quite interesting to try using it for under-eye concealer.

Moving really
really far away from beauty products now to the random crap that I have been loving! Recently I have been doing a lot of art for school (genuinely, I have been drowning under it) and my teacher lent me these Inscribe Pastels to complete a piece with. I have never really used soft pastels before and I can honestly say that I love 'em so much - apologies that some of mine are a bit gross now! They are so nice to use. They are really smooth, but the colour is really opaque and easy to blend. All of the colours are really pigmented and there is such a nice range. When I initially saw how short they were, I didn't think they would last any time, but I use them quite lightly and have barely made a dent. I have to return these back to school, but will definitely be buying my own!

My mum loves Weightwatchers and all of the products they produce and has been buying these Tomato and Herb Bruschetta a lot recently. I have been taking them into school to nibble on, and I have really enjoyed eating them! I don't know whether it is the supposed guilt-free eating, or the fact that the portion size is actually surprisingly big, or the fact that they do actually taste amazing, but I love my bruschetta breaks! I've never tried anything like this before so I don't have anything to compare it too, I can just tell you that they're really nice and only 74 calories!

Something that I have been using so much this month (and every month if I'm honest) are To Do Lists and just lists in general. I have been just the teensiest bit stressed throughout January and every time I've felt it get a bit too much (so like 4 times a day), I have sat down and written a list. I have lists of all the artwork I need done, lists of all the sewing I want to do, lists of research I need to do, lists of homework, lists of makeup, lists of my day, lists of lists... It's endless. I have got so many To Do Lists on the go at the moment, but I guess that is just how I de-stress. There's something about getting it out of your head and onto paper that suddenly makes it seem billions of times more manageable, and that's what I love. Even if I die under all the piles of paper.
I've been ill quite a lot this month which has given me some great opportunities to watch some new things. I have been loving Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and detective shows in general. I've had to physically stop myself from watching Sherlock (which is amazing by the way), because I was going through th

e episodes too fast and I need to savour them. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is an American sitcom based in Brooklyn, about a police precinct and the detectives within it. It's really nice and light to unwind too, and there is currently a new series coming out, which I have been greatly enjoying! For those of you who already watch it, my favourite character is Rosa, or maybe Terry, and I just
love Jake! If you're interested, Netflix have the whole box set!
And last, but not least, along the theme of watching things, I have recently become obsessed with Dan and Phil Games. I

t started when randomly I had this really weird need to watch a Sims series. I love the sims, and as I don't own it myself (sad face), I love to watch Youtubers play it. I found their sims series and watched the whole thing in two days (not ashamed!) and loved it! Since then I have been obsessed with all things Dan and Phil, especially their gaming channel. But hey, they hardly need me to do promo for them!
I hope you enjoyed this round up of favourites, and are looking to some more in the future - though I really don't try enough new things to make this a monthly post, we'll just have to see how it unfolds!
See you soon!
