February 2017 Glossybox

I have received another Glossybox, and it is time for me to talk you through every thing that I have acquired as a result of it!

This box is VERY Valentine's Day appropriate, which could be the slightest bit depressing if you have no one to spend it with (you can join me!), but most of them are usuable regardless of Valentine's Day.

The first thing that I received is possibly my least favourite of the box (and I hate saying that!). It is this Jeanne Arthes L'Eau de Rose fragrance. I'm personally really not a big fan of perfume normally, and I don't actually own a single one. This could be more because of their (ridiculous) price tags then their appeal, but as long as I don't smell bad, I normally don't care particularly what I smell like. I have to say though, I'm really not a fan of floral fragrances and I really don't like the smell of rose. I don't know why, it's just a personal opinion, and I don't like it. This perfume smells like roses that have been turned into a liquid and put into a bottle. Some people may love it, but it's just not really my thing. I think I'm going to see if any of my friends want it because I would hate for it to go to waste when it could be loved!

The next thing that I got is probably the thing that I am most curious about. This Noir Eternae Face Scrub by La Theorie des Volcans is a super intense face mask that will rid your face of pretty much everything besides skin. It's also meant to exfoliate. If I'm honest, I'm a little afraid almost to use this because it sounds so super duper powerful, and I'm not sure what it will do. However, I love the smell of it and am definitely very interested to give it a try. It's also normally £26, so it is a great thing that I managed to get it in my Glossybox!

The next product is another that I'm not sure about. It's by Garnier and is the Ultimate Blends Honey Treasures Strength Restorer Balm. This is only a sample and fro what I understand it is a hair mask that is designed to give some lovin' to some damaged hair. I have never used a hair mask before, but I have a lot of damaged hair, so I am interested to see how it will work. I'll admit now though, I am a little sceptical about what magical transformation it will be able to do to my hair in 5 minutes.

The next product is a nail varnish and I am beginning to fall in love with the varnishes they send me, because they are always amazing. This is a Ciate London Paint Pot in Iced Frappe (best name ever right?). It is a beautiful nude that is quite pinky toned, and also very thick. I've already painted my nails with it and I only need one coat. It also has one of those very thick brushed that mean you only need one swipe to cover the whole nail. Plus the bottle is just beautiful, so it is an all-round winner for me!

The last product is probably the one that I am the most excited about. It is this MeMeMe Beat the Blues liquid highlighter in Oyster Gold. I have recently become obsessed with highlighter but I am yet to try a liquid one. The best way I can describe it is like a nail polish for your face, that you blend in to your cheekbones for illumination. You can also mix it with foundation for more radiance, but as I have quite oily skin anyway, I don't really think I'l need to do this! From the swatches that I have done so far, it looks absolutely beautiful and I am so excited to try it out!

So that was my Glossybox for February. A few things that I'm not sure about in there, but some that I am very excited about! As always, I really recommend Glossybox, I really look forward to it every month as some of my very favourite products have come from it. I suggest you give it a go if you are thinking about it!

See you soon!
