I consider myself quite an optimist, an try to welcome in spring and summer to the best of my ability at all times. If this means wearing ballet pumps when it's pouring with rain or putting my amazing fluffy dressing gown away until next winter, then so be it. I want the sun to come.
Despite all of my efforts however, I haven't really seen much evidence of spring, let alone summer!
That was until the other day when I saw something that really confirmed for me that spring is upon us.
My family and I were walking through a field, which a week before had contained sheep. This time the population of the field had practically doubled, as there were lots of little lammies running around.
They were all really cute, but it was just this amazing show of life, of these week old lambs that really moved me. It was an incredible thing to see as they napped and ran about and played with each other.
