I am really obsessed with Makeup Revolution palettes at the moment. I think that they are just really well priced dupes for loads of the bigger brands, while also being really good quality.
The first of their palettes that I tried was the Naked Chocolate Palette from the I Heart Makeup range, and I love it so much.
The reason that I picked it up was obviously because of the packaging, which is absolutely amazing. The chocolate pieces are really 3D, and it looks so good, I really just want to gobble it up! The palette appears to be a really good dupe for the Too Faced Chocolate Bar - it even smells amazingly realistic of white chocolate!
The colours are absolutely stunning, especially for someone who is as nudes mad as I am. It has a really good mixture of matte and shimmer shades, and a huge variety of shades - no two are similar! I especially like the extra large highlights, I think that is a really nice touch! All of the colours are super pigmented, much more then I would really expect from the price, and look beautiful on the lid, blending really well.
I don't use a primer (I know I know, I really need
to) and so I didn't find that they lasted all day, but they did last a lot longer than many of my eyeshadows, which was a nice little surprise.The current price of this palette is £7.99 from Superdrug, and I really think that it is worth every penny, especially when you compare that to the £37 Too Faced palette!
It comes with one of those horrible rubbish foam applicators, but I always use brushes so this wasn't a huge problem for me.
The mirror is really large and clear, and fills up the entire inside case.
I really like this palette, and don't really have any big criticisms for it. I think that it is perfect for beginners, or just for relatively simple everyday use - I have been using it everyday for school! I would really recommend it!
