Nothing better than a fresh new bed

We all know that there is nothing better than clean sheet night. Nothing better than the crisp cool sheet and the clean fresh duvet cover.

That's the reason hotels are so amazing - its clean sheet night every night!

But the other night, I had the ULTIMATE clean sheet night.

And I mean ULTIMATE.

The sheet that had been on my bed was quite old and had gone bobbly, and was quite scratchy, so my mum produced a brand new sheet (still in the plastic!!) and it was about a billion times better than any other sheet.

But then after searching around in the cupboard, we couldn't find any appropriate duvet covers. Now for quite a while, I have been wanting to redo my room, and so have been slowly building up my collection of new duvet covers to go with my new room. But I thought that it was time to live wildly and go a little bit mental, and I got out a new duvet cover.

You know what that means. I had a BRAND NEW sheet AND a BRAND NEW duvet cover.

I literally cannot describe what it was like, sliding into bed. It was like sleeping on a rainbow wrapped up in a marshmallow, while unicorns danced around you.

Amazing.

And waking up in the morning was about one trillion times harder than usual. Because you can never have a first night in a fresh new bed again.
Unless of course you buy a new sheet and duvet cover every night.
Which is actually something I'd do...
