I thought that for today's post, I would just talk you through a few of my favourite pieces from these Christmas ranges.
Makeup Revolution
Makeup Revolution is a brand that I have discovered this year and has very quickly shot to the top of my favourite brands list. It does such great products and amazing dupes and it's all so cheap! This year, they have truly out done themselves with their Christmas range, and it is so hard for me to try and pick a favourite!
I love this brush set, it's so rare that you see so many different makeup brushes that are all so useable in one place! Normally in these sets you get all the boring ones that just do the exact same job, or you get really obscure ones that no one really knows how to use. And its only £20!
The next thing that I think would be a good little Christmas present for me (ooh who said that?) is this amazing storage chest. It contains 12 full sized products, so you could use it as a sort of 12 days of Christmas beauty advent calendar, I think it would be really nice for that. It is a little more expensive at £35, but for what you get in it, I think that it's totally worth it!
Another Makeup Revolution product that I have my eye on (can someone let my parents know this?) is this beautiful pallet. I think that if you had this, you'd be pretty set for life and wouldn't ever need to buy another pallet ever - of course that wouldn't stop you though! For only £10, it has practically every shade imaginable and I could spend many happy hours playing with it! My only concern is that my brushes would be too big to fit in the little squares, but I'm sure that I'd find a way!
Tanya Burr
I've never actually tried a single product by Tanya Burr (though I have been sorely tempted), but some of her Christmas range is just the most fantastic stuff ever!
This set by Tanya includes a blush, a highlight and a lip gloss and is just beautiful. First of all the packaging is so cute right down to the indents in the powder. The lip gloss is a really nice, really wearable shade and I think that this little set is just so good for a quick everyday look. Plus it's only £10!
Zoella
I couldn't mention Tanya Burr or even Christmas without mentioning the queen herself: Zoella. Again, I've never bought anything by Zoella but it isn't without huge sacrifice because I really want to!
I think my very favourite thing in this range is the collection of miniature perfumes. The packaging is so cute, they smell amazing and at £15 are the perfect gift for someone! Plus they're called Secret Scenta, how could you refuse???
The other thing from the Zoella Christmas range that I am absolutely desperate for is this gingerbread hand cream. I think that hand cream is so essential in winter and I adore the smell of gingerbread, and its only £5! Could there be a more perfect gift for me!?
Studio London
A brand that I never see around except at Christmas is Studio. They always have really nice products and great prices, I just wish they were available year round!
One of my very favourite products from their range this year (although I don't know when I would ever use them) is this set of glitter eyeliner! I'm assuming that they are just like normal liquid eyeliner but in many different colours and glittery. I know that coloured mascara and eyeliner are a bit of a trend at the moment, but I just don't know whether I'm brave enough for them! However, at only £6, you wouldn't be making a huge loss if you never used them! You just need to be invited to A LOT of parties!
Another one of the pieces that I love is this Bronzed Face Pallet. I love the blush and highlight and the two-tonal bronzer, I think that they are all really nice wearable shades. But most of all, I love the eyeshadows. I know that they are a little out there, but I think that if worn appropriately and blended correctly, they would look so pretty. And, would you believe that you get this whole set for just £5!?!
I know that highlighter has been a huge trend for ages now, but I have only just become obsessed with it recently. However, I think that anyone would love this beautiful highlight pallet. It has three really pretty wearable shades of a really good size, and I would love to try it! I think that this would also be a really good stocking filler as it is only £5.
Flutter
The last brand that I'm going to talk about it Flutter. Flutter is another brand that I don't see any other time of year and actually has a very special place in my heart as some of the very first makeup that I ever received was in my stocking and was from Flutter. I actually still have some of it, though there are varying shades of mould on it! Quite a lot of the Flutter range is a little twee and girlyish, but don't be put off because there are actually some really good products behind the roses and puppies!
First of all, this neutral eyes pallet is my absolute ideal everyday pallet. I would wear these colours every single day without complaint because they are soooo pretty! I think that this would also be really good for someone starting out with makeup because they are just really pretty shades to practice with. Plus, it's only £3!!
Another product that I'm quite intrigued by is this set of beauty crackers. I've never heard of beauty crackers before this year, but I think that these would be really nice if your little one is having a Christmas party, or as a cute little stocking filler. A little childish for those serious makeup artist amongst us, but they're only £5!
Those are some of my favourite products from the Christmas ranges out currently in Superdrug, if any of you fancy getting me a Christmas gift, I'm here all December!
See you tomorrow!
